Vivado on Linux

I had no problem installing Vivado/SDK on Windows.  While attempting to install the Linux version on my Linux machine, I encountered the following error:
ERROR: Installer could not be started. Could not initialize class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment
My X11 Display is set to 0:0.  How can I get it installed in Linux?
I need only the 'bootgen' tool in Linux. Is there a way to install only 'bootgen' ?

Looks like someone else had

Looks like someone else had your same problem but found a solution. Take a look at
